What this covers
These terms govern your use of the proitnw.com website and the intake forms on it. They are not the terms of any project engagement with Pro IT NW. Engagement terms live in the executed Statement of Work (SOW) and Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed between Pro IT NW and the client. Where the two conflict, the SOW/MSA prevails.
Use of the site
- ·You may browse, read, link to, and quote the site for legitimate business purposes.
- ·You may not scrape, mirror, or republish the site at scale, or use it to train commercial AI models without written permission.
- ·You may not submit false information through forms, attempt to overwhelm the intake handler, or test the site for vulnerabilities without prior written authorization.
- ·The site is a marketing surface, not a contracted service. Uptime, performance, and feature availability are best-effort.
Content + intellectual property
The site copy, brand marks, methodology framing, layout, and code are owned by Pro IT NW. Vendor logos and product names referenced in the "Systems we engineer" section are trademarks of their respective owners and are shown to communicate engineering capability, not partnership status — see the next section.
Content created during a paid engagement (architecture diagrams, runbooks, scripts, configuration files, post-mortems) is governed by the SOW. Default position: the client owns the deliverable; Pro IT NW retains the right to use the underlying methodology and reusable components on future engagements.
No partnership claims, no resale
Pro IT NW is a labor-only consultancy. We do not resell hardware, software, or licenses. We do not carry vendor "Partner" badges (Microsoft Solutions Partner, Cisco Premier, Veeam VASP, Dell Platinum, etc.) and do not represent ourselves as one. Vendor names appear on the site only to describe the technologies we engineer with.
Where we recommend a product, we recommend it because it fits the client's environment — not because we earn a commission. The SOW always states explicitly when Pro IT NW has any economic relationship with a recommended vendor.
Forward-looking statements
Field notes, blog posts, and explainers on this site reflect Pro IT NW's working understanding of vendor roadmaps, EOL deadlines, and regulatory timelines as of the publish date — they are not a guarantee that any vendor or regulator will hold to a specific schedule. Verify dates against vendor and government primary sources before making procurement or compliance decisions.
Disclaimers
The site is provided as-is. Pro IT NW does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, and disclaims all implied warranties (merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement) to the maximum extent the law allows.
Information on the site is general guidance, not engineering advice for your specific environment. Don't make production decisions based on a blog post — engage a qualified engineer (us or otherwise).
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Pro IT NW's total liability arising out of or related to the website is limited to the greater of (a) one hundred US dollars or (b) the amount you have paid Pro IT NW for any service in the twelve months preceding the claim. Pro IT NW is not liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, or goodwill — even if advised of the possibility. Engagement liability is governed by the SOW/MSA, not this page.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of the website itself (not a project engagement) is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in King County, Washington.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by revising the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
